Drummers take a lot of heat, especially young drummers. They either play too loud, too fast, too slow or too much. Leaders try to reign them in, speed them up, slow them down or chill them out.
In my usual roster of musicians, I have two drummers and two bassists. One of the bassists, Chris, always seems to find his way to the drum set, either during rehearsal or after service. He has even mentioned several times that he would like to play the drums on the worship team some day.
