Time signatures: a brief review
Let's do a brief review about time signatures. The time signature declares the meter of the song being played, and is noted as two numbers, one above the other. The upper number declares the number of beats per measure. The lower number declares the value of each beat. For example, 4/4 time has four beats per measure. It is counted "one, two, three, four."
