Year Around Jesus

Year Around Jesus
Joy
By the time you read this, the actual day of Christmas will be over but I hope the joy, peace and hope live inside you all year long. When we live with Jesus in our hearts it can. Yes, there is a big difference between happiness and real joy but I am talking about the promise and Love of God.
John 15:11 I have told you this so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your cup will overflow!
Joy will come with a consistent relationship with Jesus. Happiness comes in roller coasters of happenings in our life but the following Jesus can help us walk through the tough times knowing God is with us and showing us the way to go for a better walk through life. We are able to manage the highs and lows better knowing that God has a light on the right path for us. We have to hold his love in our hearts and have faith. Therefore the lows are strengthened by His almighty power.
Hope
Luke 18:35-42 As the blind man begged from strangers and then heard that Jesus was near, he had the faith to call out, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”
At being hushed he called out louder. Jesus asked what he wanted and the blind man stated that he wanted to be able to see. “Jesus said, “All right, begin seeing! Your faith has healed you.” The man had perseverance and hope, he had faith. Jesus heals him.
True Faith
Luke 17:6 If your faith were only the size of a mustard seed.” said Jesus, “it would be large enough to uproot that mulberry tree over there and send it hurtling into the see!”
We don’t use the capabilities that God has gifted to us. We have to keep them exercised and know that the more we use the gifts from the Lord, for the Lord, that God will bless us. If we don”t use it, it just fades.
Psalm 119:125 Lord, I am your servant; therefore give me common sense to apply your rules to everything I do.
Honor
The Lord chose seventy other disciples and sent them on ahead in pairs to all the towns and villages he planned to visit later. “Plead with the Lord of the harvest to send out more laborers to help you, for the harvest is plenty and the workers are few.”
I am sending the lambs out to the wolves.
1. Eat whatever is set before you.
2. Heal the sick, and as you heal them say, “The Kingdom of God is very near you now.”
Luke 10:17 The seventy eventually returned and reported, “Even the demons obey us when we use your name.”
“I have given you authority over all the power of the Enemy and to walk among serpents, and scorpions to crush them.”
Peace
John 14:27 I am leave you with a gift-peace of mind and heart! And the peace I give isn’t fragile like the peace the world gives. So don’t be troubled or afraid.
We must keep the Lord our God in our hearts all year around in order to receive the blessings of Christ the way it was meant to be. God wants the best for us but we have to seek, ask, knock. We have to follow the Commandments of the Lord and keep Christ in our life. This is not a once a year tradition. God would love a relationship with you and He wants us to spread the Good News. The angels did, the shepherds did, wise men still seek Him.
Where are you on your journey with the Lord?
The time is now to show our Love to God and keep it in our hearts forever.
Amen and Peace be unto you, all year long.
